Pillow block bearing , namely outer spherical bearings. It belongs to the deep groove ball bearing, inside the rolling body for the steel ball; Its outer ring surface is spherical, so it is called pillow block bearing.

Concept：

The outer spherical ball bearing is actually a variant of deep groove ball bearing,characterized by its outer ring outer diameter surface is spherical, which can be fitted into the corresponding concave spherical bearing seat to play a role of self-aligning.
The outer spherical bearing is mainly used to bear the combined radial and axial loads mainly in the radial load, generally no suitable to bear the axial load alone.
The outer spherical bearing with seat is a kind of bearing element which combines the rolling bearing with the bearing seat. Most of the outer spherical bearings are made of spherical outer diameter and installed together with the bearing seat with spherical inner hole.
