First, we want to stress that it is important to keep bearings lubricated and clean. Therefore, before we inspect the bearing, we should clean the surface of the bearing first, and then disassemble the parts around the imported bearing. Everyone should pay attention that the oil seal is a very fragile part, so you need to be extra careful during inspection and disassembly, and do not apply excessive force to avoid damage to the parts. Then carefully check the oil seal of the bearing and its surrounding parts. If it has shown bad symptoms, be sure to replace it. Bad oil seal will cause damage to the bearing, make the bearing cloudy and cause the equipment to stop.
Secondly, we also check the lubricant of the bearing. Lubrication is important, not only for bearings, but for all bearings. But please note that it is not advisable to add too much grease to the bearing.
The inspection methods for bearing lubricants are:
Apply a little lubricant and rub between your fingers. If there is contamination, you can feel it; or apply a thin layer of lubricant on the back of your hand, and then perform a sealing inspection. Then it's time to replace the bearing lubricant.
Oil lubricated inlet bearings should be refilled with fresh oil if possible after draining the old oil and let the machine spin at low rpm for a few minutes. Allow the oil to collect residual contaminants as much as possible, and then drain the oil. NOTE: Oil is filtered before use. For bearings lubricated with grease, when replacing the grease, the remover used should avoid any part of the bearing with cotton material. This is especially important for small bearing applications as these residual fibers can wedge between the rolling elements and cause damage.
1. Selection and control of shaft and bearing chamber tolerances: After the bearing is pressed into the imported bearing, it should rotate flexibly without any sense of blockage. If the rotation is obviously inflexible, it indicates that the size of the shaft is too large and the tolerance should be reduced. If the bearing is pressed into the shaft and rotated by hand, there is a clear "sand" feeling, it may be that the tolerance of the shaft is too large or the roundness of the shaft is not good. Therefore, when controlling the tolerance of the shaft and the bearing chamber, it is necessary to control the roundness. At present, many domestic manufacturers only control the tolerance and do not control the roundness.
2. Bearing assembly method: Because the bearing is a high-precision product, it is easy to damage the bearing channel if it is improperly assembled, resulting in bearing damage. The bearing should have a special mold when assembling, and it cannot be beaten at will. When pressing into the shaft, only a small circle can be stressed, and when a large circle is pressed, only a large circle can be stressed. When assembling, it is required to use air pressure or hydraulic pressure, and the upper and lower molds should be in a horizontal state during press-fitting.
3. Prevention of foreign objects in assembly: When the imported bearing is installed on the rotor for dynamic balancing, it is easy to enter the iron filings generated during dynamic balancing into the bearing, so it is necessary to do dynamic balancing before installing the bearing. For the convenience of assembly, some manufacturers apply some oil or grease to the bearing chamber for lubricating effect during assembly, but it is often difficult for operators to control the amount. Easy access to the inside of the bearing along the shaft. The bearing chamber should not be coated with oil or grease. If coating is necessary, it must be controlled that there is no accumulation in the bearing chamber.
4. Prevention of paint rust: The characteristic of paint rust is that it occurs frequently in sealed motors. The sound of the motor is very good during assembly, but after being placed in the warehouse for some time, the abnormal noise of the motor changes greatly. Remove the imported bearings. Severe rust. In the past, many manufacturers thought it was the bearing problem. After our continuous publicity, the motor factory has now realized that the main problem is the insulating paint. This problem is mainly because the acidic substances volatilized from the insulating paint form corrosive substances under a certain temperature and humidity, which corrode the bearing grooves and cause bearing damage. At present, the problem can only be to choose a good insulating paint, and assemble it after drying and ventilating for a period of time.
